Things to do in Cody, Wyoming
Center of the West
The Center of the West is a must-see for all ages. A Smithsonian Affiliate, the Center of the West houses five museums. Make sure you plan for at least one entire day, if not two, for this stop.
The Cody Nite Rodeo
Cody, Wyoming is named the Rodeo Capital of the World because it’s the the longest standing rodeo in the country and there is a nightly rodeo. The longevity and history make this a must-experience event during your stay. Rodeos are held at 8 pm nightly throughout the summer.
Wyoming River Trips

Yellowstone National Park
We are an hour from Yellowstone National Park’s East Entrance. The scenic North Fork Highway, part of Shoshone National Forest, is as stunning as the park itself. It is the oldest National Forest in the United States. Featuring beautiful mountains, rock formations, the Northfork Shoshone River, and amazing wildlife!

Cedar Mountain Trail Rides
What better way to experience the west than horseback riding! Cedar Mountain Trail Rides takes you on a stunning trail ride to the top of Cedar Mountain overlooking Cody and the Bighorn Basin. It is the perfect way to create memories of your time here in historic Cody.

Chief Joseph Scenic Highway
This stunning drive takes you through Sunlight Basin and to the great heights of Dead Indian Summit Overlook. The road follows the Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. This scenic area offers more than a lovely drive. Fishing, picnicking, and hiking trails are plentiful in the area.
